URBAN by Lecapitaine, the new refrigerated bodywork for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), has been developed to address the future challenges of urban deliveries: limiting emissions of CO2 and other pollutants, guaranteeing optimum transport conditions for your temperature-controlled goods and optimising your comfort and safety.
Sustainable innovation
Developed by our R&D teams, URBAN by Lecapitaine features a host of innovations and exclusive patents: sandwich panels, RigidLink and SimpleLock.
SimpleLock: easy and safe delivery
The new door hold system has been specially designed for URBAN by Lecapitaine to meet the needs of urban delivery.
Remote central locking
The anti-theft system secures the load by simultaneously locking the vehicle and the refrigerated box.
A secure work area
Deliver safely with the 100% LED automated lighting of the work area, the ceiling light with presence detection and the HD reversing camera.
Recycled materials
The sandwich panels are made from PET. URBAN by Lecapitaine bodyworks contain approximately 239 recycled plastic bottles!
Reinforced insulation
The more resistant sandwich panels mean URBAN by Lecapitaine is better insulated with a K-value of 0.31 W/m² x °C
Optimised aerodynamics
The aerodynamic profile of the bodywork saves energy and gives the vehicle a unique and modern design.
Increased payload
The RigidLink sub-frame, also developed by Lecapitaine, was designed to increase the vehicle’s payload.
